Checkpoint Charlie wasn&#8217;t one of them, and really just felt like a place to buy souvenirs. It took me quite a while to find the Berlin Wall, based on not <em>really <\/em>consulting a map but just sort of biking through tunnels and along parks. Everything seemed empty that day, and no one was really outside at this time. The recently rained look gave the wall memorial a special aura.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.migration.globechalk.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2014-08-16-10.27.25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-570\" src=\"http:\/\/www.migration.globechalk.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2014-08-16-10.27.25-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"2014-08-16 10.27.25\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"http:\/\/GLOBECHALK.COM\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2014-08-16-10.27.25.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/GLOBECHALK.COM\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2014-08-16-10.27.25-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>People consistently graffiti over graffiti at the Berlin Wall, and it was cool to watch it being done.
